First the head flies off….then the torso goes exorcism-style wild, then a complete flip by the pelvis/legs….if this doesn’t happen every time you bench press, you’re not training properly. Just exploring some new movements with to see what’s possible. Bench press is challenging apparently…

Former grad student Justin Demoss had his thesis manuscript accepted for publication. He spent months cultivating a relationship with some Hot Shot crews in the California mountain ranges (they even put him through a trial hike to see if he was worthy!). He successfully collected some data on them in hopes of helping improve the understanding around their job tasks. This acceptance is a testament to his hard work and dedication. Oh and he’s also now a woodland firefighter himself, running with his team to better the lives of our firefighter community. Great work Justin!
