The Advanced Photojournalism went to shoot a beach volleyball match between CSULB and LMU. They were to shoot 3 action photos and two photos away from the ball, non-action. Can’t wait to see the pictures next class.

Every semester I try to get my photojournalism classes to the Belmont Pier for a feature hunt. There’s always something going on. On this one I wanted them to emphasize seeing active foregrounds, framing, lines and different points of view. Thanks for looking.

Some great work from the Intro to Photojournalism students on their final picture story of the semester. The stories ranged from a bookstore owner who has trouble letting go, a series of senior citizen portraits, a young couple raising a child with down syndrome, a ride-along with campus police, volunteers at a half-way house for teens and a dog valet service at a local farmers market. Thank you looking and enjoy.
