The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute is a function as a centralized hub to provide the opportunity for students to develop leadership and interpersonal skills, practical experience and exposure within the earthquake engineering fields. The EERI serves a community of students and professionals for the purpose of sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences and promoting education through various activities.

CSULB EERI Student Chapter have been invited to attend the 2015 Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition in Boston, Massachuttes. Our team members worked all days, all nights to construct the building and finally able to shipped it to Boston. We made a great outcome throughout the trip and will take the experience we all learned to prepare for next year's competition.
