Long Beach NBC Student Leadership Council and The Salvation Army joined forces this Christmas season to give joy to children in need through "Angel Giving Tree program." From November 13th to December 6th, our Long Beach students and staff fullfilled Angel wishes. Congratulations in meeting our goal of 90 gifts, including scooters and bikes. Thank you! Your generousity truly made a diiference for those less fortunate.

At Newbridge College, our goal is to provide you with the best education possible. Dr. Carlos Brown, our evening Anatomy & Physiology instructor, has invited his students to expand their world of knowledge. They are allowed to attend a Neu...ro-pathology session at UCLA. Dr. Brown shares the experience on one of his students: "Every Tuesday, Kevin, A Newbridge Longbeach College student attends the Neuro-pathology session at UCLA. He takes public transportation from Huntington Beach, to arrive at the campus at 8am, an hour before the Pathology discussion starts. Kevin meets with Dr, Vinters, the Chief of the UCLA/Neuro-pathology Department and a well-known worldwide pathologist every week, and recieves directly the benefit of Dr. Vinter's guidance. Kevin has mastered the Anatomy of the Nervous System, that will definely help him in his career as a Surgical Technologist. Long Beach Newbridge College Students, had a bake sale on July 25th. The proceeds went to the school supply drive, to help children in "Mi Casa Ending Domestic Violence" shelters.
