We celebrated National Play-Doh Day on September 16, 2024. Each classroom made their own Play-Doh. Children got the opportunity to squish, mold, roll, cut and create their own figures!

Happy Earth Day! We celebrated on April 22nd by planting our own seeds in recycled toilet paper rolls! We all had an opportunity to decorate our rolls with markers and festive stickers. Afterwards, we filled them with fresh soil and chose our seeds. We had a variety of seeds like cucumbers, lettuce, flowers, catnip, and more! We sprayed them water and finished off by thinking of where to plant them afterwards. All classes enjoyed planting their seeds! We can’t wait to see them grow.

We ended last week’s Week of the Young Child by celebrating with Artsy Thursday (and expressed creativity with silly dress day) and Flashy Family Friday (where we shared family pictures and stories, and showed our school spirit wearing our Edgewater Preschool shirts)! 💙🎨😊
