COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

Attention Parents: our main priority at Exploratory Learning Academy is to keep each and every child safe. As you are aware the Coronavirus is rapidly spreading. As a precaution each child's temperature will be taken upon arrival, before nap time, after nap time, and before departure. As well as all staff. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to allow time for staff to conduct thorough wellness checks.

To avoid cross-contamination, we ask that all parents bring a thermometer in order for your child's temperature to be checked throughout the day. Thermometers will be kept at the daycare, located in each child's cubby in plastic Ziploc bags, labeled with each child's name.

Staff and or child found to have fevers will be sent home and must remain home for 24 hours, and a doctors note will be required to return.

We will be bleaching down all surfaces every hour as an additional precaution. Ex. Toys, door k***s, table tops.

Blankets used during nap time will be washed daily, and stored in individual Ziploc bags labeled, with each child's name.

In addition to our daily lessons children will be learning the proper way to cover their mouths when they cough,their noses when they sneeze, and the proper way to thoroughly wash their hands.

Exploratory Learning Academy is now hiring teachers for the new school year. We are a 24 hour daycare open 7 days a week. We also have a driving position available in which driver will be responsible for taking school age children to and from school each day. Vehicle will be provided by daycare.

Teaching requirements are as follows:
• At least two years of child care experience
• FBI and DOJ clearance
• CPR including pediatrics certification
• Clear TB
• Flexible availability

Drivers:
• Must be 25 or older with a valid California drivers license
• Experience driving large vehicles
• Must be able to provide DMV printout of driving record
• Flexible schedule
