This small but growing organization provides workshops on domestic violence, disability inclusion, mentoring, sensitivity training, food care packages, outreach, and even runs a podcast to share resources for Los Angeles County residents.
This year, DVM is raising funds to provide transportation for domestic violence victims. Transportation is a key barrier for those escaping unsafe situations, and reliable rides can mean the difference between staying trapped or reaching safety.
You can donate to DVM during Long Beach Gives at longbeachgives.org. Early giving is going on now and Long Beach Gives is September 18th!
