You may have heard of this event which is commonly known as Missing Murdered and Indigenous People or Missing Murdered and Indigenous Women. CSULB is recognizes and stands in solidarity with all those impacted✊🏽✊🏾.
The issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People is a serious concern in many countries, including Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Australia. It refers to the disproportionately high rates of violence and homicide experienced by Indigenous communities, which is often linked to systemic racism, sexism, poverty, and other factors. The issue has gained increased public attention in recent years, with advocates calling for action to address the root causes and provide support to affected families and communities.
Our event is dedicated to bringing awareness to the ongoing issue of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives and to showing solidarity with their families and communities. Let us stand together and say, “No More Silence”.
