Calling 8th grade parents prepping for applying to LBUSD high schools - On Tuesday, 11/2, come learn about both PACE and CIC at Poly - the difference between the two programs, which may be better suited for your child, and how/why they have a proven track record for preparing students for acceptance and success at top 4-year universities.

This is a an event hosted by parents. LBUSD has cut back significantly on opportunities for families to obtain info in person (even pre-pandemic). Find out from students why Poly is such a special school. And please help spread the word!
The lost and found table is already getting full! 😳
Congratulations to our 2020 Read-A-Thon winners!

- The student with the most minutes read among all participants is Michael Quintana, our K-2 winner!
- Our Middle School winner for most minutes read is Ryan Droney.
- Our grades 3-5 winner for most minutes read Oliver MacCaskey.

Congratulations readers!

Ms. Romero's class reported the most minutes read, Ms. Baskin & Ms. Soldan's class was our top fundraising class, and Mrs. Tomczyk's class had the most participants.

Go Spartans!
Don't forget to track your student's minutes read! Tracking for the Read A Thon ends Sunday. https://pledgestar.com/newcombreads/
Don't forget to sign up for the Read A Thon and enter your minutes read. We still have approximately 15 classes/homerooms with no participants. Sign up at https://pledgestar.com/newcombreads/

Once you have created your page, to enter minutes read, expand the section that says Enter Readers. To the right of each student's name, there is a blue book icon under the title "Reading Log". If you click on the book icon, you can select the date and enter the minutes read for that student for that date. Thank you and happy reading!
Good morning newcomb family! I was wondering if any sort of supply list was going to be released?? And if anyone could possibly share a 7th grade supply list with me if it has been released?

Don’t judge others based on what other people think. Keep an open mind and heart, everyone deserves a chance. You don’t always have to be friends with everyone, but you should always make it clear that you don’t like it when people bully others. It’s important to stick up for people who are having a hard time. Change The Culture!
