In the world we live in, it is easy to focus on all the negative things that surround us.
However, if we take time to honestly think and reflect on all the things there are to be grateful for, our minds and our attitudes will be changed.
Between catching up with your studies, Black Friday shopping, and Thanksgiving get togethers this break can slip by.
Try to take just a moment to reflect on the things we have to be grateful for.

Quite often, the day of the death of famous authors is commemorated more frequently than their birthday. In Pier Paolo Pasolini’s case, his shocking murder in 1975 took center stage in the narrative of his biography, this final moment somehow eclipsing his life’s beginning on March 5th, 1922. Yet, Pasolini’s works are the product of his life, of his “desperate vitality” that began on that fateful date. To honor this, and to celebrate Pasolini’s 100th birthday, Dr. Francesco Chianese and The Graziadio Center have organized a one-day symposium entitled: One Hundred Years of Pasolini: A Transnational Gathering of Critical Voices. Please join us in discussing Pasolini on Friday, March 4th at the Anatol Center, or via Zoom, from 9AM to 3PM.
