Ondo practice this Saturday at the Long Beach Japanese Cultural Center has changed to 3, just for this Saturday.

Only 4 more practices before the June 27th festival.

Also, students and parents you still have time to volunteer to help at the Long Beach Japanese Language School food booth.

Interested in learning Japanese and some japanese culture or just want to try learning Japanese. Then the summer program is a great way to get both. This summers program theme is "Matsuri!"

We participated in Japanese Cultural Fair at LBCC, Long Beach City College yesterday!

It was a fun event and great to get out to spread information about Long Beach Japanese Language School and Long Beach Japanese Cultural Center festival, which is happening June 27th, 2026.

Fair goers got to try and make some origami and learn about Japanese culture and we even had visit from The Shamisen Brothers Band Kuni Ken! They put on a great concert later that evening!

Thank you to all our volunteers for putting out a great showing and grateful for the opportunity to showcase LBJLS!

Aloha! Mother's day, friends, family and supporter pancake breakfast 2026 event was yesterday! A yummy breakfast was enjoyed by all.
