Vincent de Paul we believe that in the atmosphere of a developing Faith Community we are to encourage persons to become more fully the unique individuals they are destined to be. issioned by the Catholic Church to assist each child in developing a life in response to the message of Jesus and the stewardship of creation. We further believe that everyone is both teacher and learner, and that cooperative endeavor is essential in the developing Faith Community of students, parents, and faculty to:

Attain the doctrinal foundation of Catholic values
Express belief in our basic relationships with God
Realize Christian unity among all

Perceiving individual differences as strengths rather than as weak-nesses, we hold it necessary to develop a climate of trust in which both adults and children can experience mutual respect and reverence. Moreover, we believe that flexibility is necessary to allow the teacher to adapt to the needs of the child and to allow the child, in our changing society:

To build self-worth, and self-identity
To develop self-discipline, responsibility, leadership skills, Christian values, and the formation of conscience

Finally, St. Vincent de Paul School seeks an environment in which faith in the Catholic Christian tradition affects the social development, academic growth, and religious maturity of all members of its Faith Community.

❤️ Grandparents Day at St. Vincent de Paul! ❤️

What a wonderful day celebrating some very special members of our SVS family—our grandparents! Our students loved welcoming their grandparents and special guests to campus, spending time together in the classrooms, and sharing Mass as a school family.

We are so grateful for the love, wisdom, faith, and encouragement grandparents give to our children. The smiles in these pictures say it all! ❤️

Beta Club National Convention is a Wrap! 🇺🇸❤️
We are incredibly proud of our students who represented Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic School at the 2026 National Beta Convention in Nashville, Tennessee!

Over the past two weeks, our Elementary and Junior Beta Clubs competed in Visual Arts, Performing Arts, and Musicology.

Congratulations to Archer Kraft, who earned 1st Place in the State of Mississippi and advanced to compete at the national level in the Junior Division of Performing Arts. Archer brought the house down with an original song he wrote, featuring lyrics that beautifully incorporated the tenets of Beta Club. We are so proud of his creativity, talent, and the way he represented Saint Vincent de Paul on the national stage.

We are especially excited to celebrate our Elementary Beta Club's Musicology Team, who were crowned National Champions, earning 1st Place in the Nation in the Jeopardy-style Musicology competition!

We are SUPER excited to celebrate our SUPERHEROES this week!!!

We kicked things off this morning with loaded teas from Dee’s Nutrition—and Baby Hayes was there passing out smiles to start the week off right!
The teachers’ lounge will be *fully stocked* all week with sodas, coffee, and plenty of snacks, so be sure to stop by and enjoy a special treat—compliments of the Alleman family
