A cozy classroom moment before the break, shared by our teacher candidate. Students enjoyed pie and cider, colored the tablecloth, and shared what they are thankful for. Grateful for the joy they bring to learning.

A beautiful recommendation for this time of year. Gather Grateful by Megan Litwin is a gentle story that follows animals preparing for colder months and noticing what they are thankful for. With our candidates building skills to support curiosity and exploration in science, this book offers a natural way to connect literacy, nature, and conversations about gratitude as we move into the Thanksgiving season. We are thankful for curious minds, outdoor learning moments, and the joy of learning together.
