Welcome back to our returning teacher candidates and a warm welcome to our newest members of the CalStateTEACH community. We’re so glad you’re here! Here’s to learning, connection, and another meaningful semester ahead.

As schools head into winter break, we are wishing our school communities a restful and joyful break!

This Grinch themed holiday art project, shared by a CalStateTEACH alumni, brings a lot of personality, creativity, and fun to the season and is a great reminder of the joy found in classroom moments.

Each term, Orientation brings our new CalStateTEACH teacher candidates together with their faculty and cohort community. It is our welcome space to connect, support, and start the term on the right foot. We look forward to welcoming our new and returning candidates for the Spring 2026 Orientation on 1/3/26. As we wrap up the fall semester, we are celebrating all our candidates, including those completing their program and those finishing their terms. We are proud of your dedication and the growth you have shown. Congratulations on a strong finish!

With our candidates building skills to support curiosity and exploration in science, this book offers a natural way to connect literacy, nature, and conversations about gratitude as we move into the Thanksgiving season. We are thankful for curious minds, outdoor learning moments, and the joy of learning together.
