Cease Animal Torture is dedicated to just that: ceasing animal torture.

We are a student organization at CSU Long Beach that seeks to end animal suffering by educating the public, and taking action against the industries and individuals that add to the cruelty of the animals. We hope to educate others about the animal cruelty, health issues, and environmental damage that can come with choosing to eat a omnivorous diet. We promote veganism but accept people of all diet

Hi, everyone! Animal Place's Food for Thought program is collaborating with CAT and PETA to host a tabling event about speciesism.

Animal Place's Food for Thought program helps animal shelters serve fully vegetarian or vegan food at their events and fundraisers. Because if their mission is save animals, they shouldn't serve them! Learn more about Food for Thought at www.foodforthoughtcampaign.org.

Next week, we'll talk with students about speciesim and give out pop sockets to those who fill out a postcard asking their local shelter to serve plant-based foods.

Hope to see you there!
