On Thursday, July 30, Rev. Seth Moorman, Strategy & Marketing Executive for 1517, presented Bethany Lutheran School with a check for $10,000 for the Student Success Program.
Over the past four years 1517 has donated $60,000 to the Student Success Program (SSP), ensuring that students with dyslexia and other learning differences receive 1:1 and small group instruction.
A primary factor in 1517 selecting SSP as a recipient for their annual donations was that they found the SSP mission statement to be in alignment with their own mission. “The Student Success Program exists to prevent academic failure, ensuring each child can read the Bible for themselves and continue to grow in wisdom and knowledge.”

One of our students, Jacob Levitus, was chosen to host a stand for Lakewood Lemonade Day this Saturday at Bloomfield Park! He was one of 19 students chosen from over 100 applicants!

Jacob’s stand will support “My Sister, My Friend” and Bethany Lutheran School! Stop by for a refreshing glass!
