Hello everyone!

Hope everyone finished strong this semester with final exams and projects! We are here to announce the new AIAA Executive Board for the 2021-2022 academic year! Here are the results! Congratulations to the winning candidates and best of luck on the new academic year! They are ready to shape the future of aerospace!

The AIAA Ambassador and Fundraising Officer positions are open to all students! If you are interested in any of the positions, email [email protected] for the details. Have a great summer vacation!

Final reminder for the 2021-2022 AIAA Elections!

If you are an AIAA member at CSULB and are looking to become more involved with our professional organization, now is your chance to run for a position! The deadline to declare is no later than 11:59pm on Thursday, April 22nd. (TONIGHT!)

In order to declare you must:
-Be a member of AIAA at CSULB and fill out the google form by the deadline. -Prepare a written speech that will be submitted along with the google form.
-Prepare to present your speech on Election Day (April 29th at 5:00pm)
-Be prepared to commit to your position for one full academic year.

How you write your speech is up to your discretion. Just make sure to explain why you make a great candidate for your desired position.

This is a great opportunity to expand your resume and to get some valuable professional experience.

We look forward to getting to know the future leaders of AIAA!

It’s been almost 2 weeks since we hosted the 2021 AIAA Region VI Student Conference! Here are just a few of the many highlights from the event! It was such a wonderful event but we couldn’t have made it happen without everyone who participated! Khushbu Patel will be sharing tips for resumes, participating in virtual conferences and interviews, talking to recruiters, and more!

This meeting is open for all Region VI students in preparation for our conference in April.

AIAA is hosting a virtual Career Fair on April 2nd from 5-8pm that will be open for those who are registered for the AIAA Region VI conference. Participants will have the opportunity to network with companies like The Aerospace Corporation, United Launch Alliance, Space Dynamics Laboratory, AFRS Detachment 1, and Aerojet Rocketdyne and more!

Don’t forget to register for the Region VI conference BEFORE March 19th at 11:59pm to save your spot for this virtual career fair and the conference!
