We are happy to announce that we can now start accepting the membership fees for the Spring 2022 semester! Starting from today until March 10th, the membership fee will be discounted at $10. After that, starting March 11th, the price will be $15. This week, we have an EXCITING opportunity in our next meeting! We will be learning SQL (Structured Query Language) to manage and navigate a database. Moreover, one of our own I S professors, Dr. Jose Pineda of CSULB will be teaching it! Join us this Thursday, February 24th at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom to learn the basics of SQL. This is a great opportunity to learn how databases work. Hope to see you all there! Meeting is open to anyone interested in learning SQL.

Hey everyone! My name is Douglas Pith but I go by Doug for short. I’m currently in my last semester majoring in Management Information Systems. I’ve been involved in AIS since last fall semester but now I have the privilege and honor of serving as the Vice President of Memberships which I’m really excited about. I’m really looking forward to cultivating a positive and enriching space with my fellow board members in bringing together like-minded individuals and industry professionals. AIS has provided me with amazing opportunities to make connections, learn technical skills, and hear about career paths within MIS. My goal in AIS is to help others in the same way it has for me!

Hi everyone! My name is Catherine Dao, and I am currently a third year student majoring in Management Information Systems. This semester I am excited to be serving as AIS Vice President of Finance and building lifelong connections with my peers. In AIS, I enjoyed learning about different career paths, developing my professional skills, and meeting students with similar goals. Some of my hobbies are drawing, listening to music, and visiting the beach. I look forward to this spring semester and helping AIS and its members become successful.

CSULB's College of Business will be hosting this semester's COB Day on January 19, 2022! This is an orientation event for new students enrolling in the College of Business. Starting at 3:00 p.m., everyone participating will have the opportunity to network with the many organizations the college has to offer, including AIS! Please come visit us via our Zoom room that will be open 3:00-4:00 p.m.! We are excited to share what we have in store for the upcoming semester, and excited to network with you all! Come find out what we are about and what we do in the Information Systems major!

Hello AIS members! We want to thank you all for making the Fall 2021 semester a wonderful and smooth experience! We enjoyed making new, professional connections through our weekly guest speakers and learning new technical skills through our workshops.
