You know what the world needs right now? It needs creators, innovators, and people who have honed divergent thinking skills. There are problems to be solved -- big problems. More than rule followers, we need to raise problem solvers!

Do you know what situations help kids learn those traits?

Massive, vast amounts of uninterrupted time to follow their own interests.

Unfortunately, most kids aren't getting that. When parents, teachers, or school bells say, "it's time to stop reading and switch to math now" we do two damaging things:

1) We artificially compartmentalize topics, which cuts off connections, possibilities, imagination, and solutions, and

2) We tell those kids that what they are interested in doesn't matter as much as what we want them to do, that we know better, and they should stop listening to themselves. We cut off their curiosity, their dive into material, and tell them that someone else is the expert or authority, even of their own life.

At Creative Space Learning Center, our children get time to play, time to explore their interests, time to problem solve, and time to figure out who they are.

Creative Space Learning Center, a self directed learning association, is now enrolling ages 3-16 for 2026/2027! Run by certified teachers and homeschooling moms! Limited spots available. DM for info. 😃

Our enrichment program and extracurricular classes are a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn together through child-led exploration, 1:1 and small group tutoring, engaging hands-on activities and cooperative play. Our child directed learning programs allow our children the freedom and confidence to become lifelong learners. Family involvement welcome and parents are welcome to drop off or stay and join in the fun! ❤️
