My favorite part of homeschooling is that every day is an opportunity to learn through living. We took off for a few days to the coast…exploring sea life, the ocean, tides…all the things.🦀🐙🐠🐬🐚
How do you incorporate learning into your adventures?

We’ve been offline for a while during our busy season. We recently took some time for family adventures, and are now ready to jump back into normal life. Our adventures always include some type of educational “field trip”. What are your favorite homeschooling adventures?

As someone who has been homeschooling consecutively since 2002….I am often asked about some of my favorite things.
I’ve been putting together a list on my Linktree (link in bio….and if purchased from the list, there may be a itty-bitty commission).
Every item on the list is something we use in our homeschool.

😂 It’s just that time of year for me. Thinking about what worked this past year….and what didn’t. What curriculum to start looking into for the fall…what to shelve for a later date. Neurodivergent homeschooling has some unique challenges. Sometimes I have to change things up quickly to keep him focused and engaged…..sometimes I have to scrap plans and move on to something else before *I* am ready. It definitely keeps me on my toes!

I know I’ve said it before…but we love CrunchLabs so much! It gives my son such a huge sense of accomplishment when he is able to complete a build all on his own.
We are so grateful for the well done video instructions and fun projects.

What’s your favorite field trip?

Do you utilize any build boxes in your homeschool? We’ve used many brands over the years, but right now we are really enjoying CrunchLabs engineering build boxes. We love the step-by-step videos that Mark Rober provides…..the pride of completing a build “all by himself” is amazing!
