That world starts with US right NOW.
It starts with what we know, what we carry and heal, and what we choose to let go as our cultura evolves ✨

The American Academy of Pediatrics' new report on digital ecosystems makes one thing clear: today’s media is designed to capture attention and children are growing up in it.
For young kids, that matters. Their brains are still building skills like focus, self-regulation, and learning through real-world interaction.
Screens can help, but they don’t replace relationships.
Children build resilience through everyday moments: waiting, problem-solving and learning to work through small disappointments. If screens become the default, those opportunities shrink.
And it’s not just how much media kids use. It’s what kind they're watching. Fast, short-form content used alone doesn’t support development the way shared, educational content can.

Profits over people = collective trauma with severe repercussions.
I live 15 min away from this unfolding disaster and am half expecting to hear an explosion any second. I hope and pray this does not happen but I feel my body bracing for impact.
We have so many people we care about who either work or live in the evacuation zone. The impact is already here at so many levels (psychological, economic, etc). It’s in an industrial area with MANY workers of color whose families depends on their income to live and survive. We work with families in this school district.
Stressed out 😮💨

We are above nothing; rather, connected deeply to everything 🌿
To realize and embody this understanding is to collectively heal.
