Life in a toddler classroom is full of big feelings, busy little feet, growing independence, endless curiosity, and LOTS of learning, and Ms. Rebeca handles it all with patience, kindness, and care. 🧸💕 She works hard each day to create a classroom where our toddlers feel safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to explore the world around them.

From comforting little ones who need an extra cuddle to celebrating all those exciting “I did it!” moments, Ms. Rebeca plays such an important role during this incredible stage of development. 🌱✨

🔥🚒 Fire Prevention Week! 🚒🔥

This week, we’re learning all about fire safety and the important helpers who keep our communities safe! ❤️🧑‍🚒

Throughout the week, our classrooms will be talking about what to do in an emergency, practicing important safety skills, and learning about firefighters and the incredible work they do. Even our littlest learners can begin building safe habits through simple, age-appropriate lessons! 🧯✨

Fire Prevention Week is a great reminder for families to continue the conversation at home, too. Talk with your children about your family’s fire escape plan, practice “Get Low and Go,” and remind them that firefighters are helpers, even when they’re wearing all of their gear. 🏠🔥

Here’s to a week of learning, practicing, and helping our little learners become fire-safety superstars! 🚒⭐

Today, we’re celebrating some special milestones at Kiddie Academy of Lone Tree!

Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and all the love and care you bring to our Academy every day. We are so grateful to have you as part of our team!

For two wonderful years, you’ve been taking care of our little ones through delicious, nutritious meals and all the hard work you put into our kitchen. Thank you for everything you do to keep our children happy, healthy, and well-fed! We truly appreciate you!

🎃🧪 Fizzy Pumpkin Science with Ms. Lauren! 🧪🎃

Our 3 & 4-year-old classes had some fizzy fall fun with Ms. Lauren today! 🍂✨

For our Fizzy Pumpkin Experiment, our little scientists got to see what happened when vinegar was added to baking soda pumpkins. The result? Lots of fizzing, bubbling, foaming, and VERY excited preschoolers! 🫧🎃

Before adding the vinegar, we talked about what we thought might happen, then watched the reaction unfold right before our eyes! 👀🔬 It was a fun, hands-on way to explore cause and effect, predictions, observation, and chemical reactions.

Who knew pumpkins could be so bubbly?! 🎃🫧💚

☕🤎 Happy International Coffee Day! 🤎☕

Because our amazing parents deserve a little pick-me-up too! ✨ This morning, we turned drop-off into a mini coffee shop and set out hot coffee for our families to grab on their way into the day. ☕🍂

It’s just a small way for us to say thank you for trusting us with your little ones and for being such an important part of our school community. We hope your coffee was hot, your morning was smooth, and your kiddos gave you at least a little time to enjoy it. 😉🤎

We recently supported the Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive benefiting the Harford County Education Foundation with help from our corporate staff.

Together, we collected 202 school supplies to help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

Art that makes a difference? We'd bid on that.

Kiddie Academy of Urbana raised $2,500 for Blessings in a Backpack – Frederick Chapter during its sixth annual Children’s Art Show & Charity Auction on Saturday, with an additional $1,500 committed through silent auction bids.

The funds will support Blessings in a Backpack’s efforts to ensure local children have access to nutritious meals outside the school week.
