DCSD Bridge Program The DCSD Bridge Transition Program helps significantly disabled students, ages 18-21, build essential skills for adulthood.

We focus on daily living, employability, social-emotional skills, and community access to empower them for independence.

Last week Ms Olga’s class went on an outing to tour Trader Joe’s and practice their restaurant skills at Colonna’s Pizzeria and volunteered at Artisan’s Pizza and Help &Hope.

Exciting progress update! 🌱 The Saddle Ranch Garden is coming along beautifully. Our Bridge students are going to thrive in this hands-on educational space once it's complete!

“Ms. Kim’s class is having a great ESY so far. We have cleaned up the garden at Saddle Ranch, and planted our garden in front of HR Bridge. To finish up our gardening week, we made seed bombs. We spent week two working on our camping skills. We went to Cabela’s for a scavenger hunt, we made s’mores, we stuffed sleeping bags, and made tents. As we come to an end of week three, we had a great day riding adapted bikes yesterday at the Parker Fieldhouse. In addition, we’ve made yummy treats, shopped at Walmart, and have made many chocolate chip cookies to sell. Everybody’s enjoying the summer so far.
