💙 A HUGE shoutout to the amazing parents of Merryhill School Lone Tree! 💙

This week, our families wanted to shower our incredible teachers with some extra love and appreciation by hosting a Fill the Fridge! 🥰

Our wonderful families went above and beyond, bringing in all of the teachers’ favorite snacks and drinks to show just how much this amazing team is loved and appreciated.

This picture is just a fraction of what our families brought in, but it represents so much more than snacks—it represents gratitude, kindness, and a whole lot of love for our teachers!

We are so thankful for our incredible Merryhill Lone Tree families and for the opportunity to celebrate the teachers who pour so much into our children every single day.

🎉🏆 WE HAVE A WINNER! 🏆🎉

Our teachers went head-to-head in a little friendly competition to see who could create the most creative and amazing classroom door!

Once all of the doors were finished, other leaders from across our company’s schools got to vote on their favorite—and we are SO excited to announce that Ms. Rae & Ms. Lani’s door took the win! 🎉

Their door was full of creativity, heart, and so much love for our grandparents in our community, and it definitely stood out!

A huge congratulations to Ms. Rae & Ms. Lani on their well-deserved win! And a big thank-you to ALL of our amazing teachers for putting so much thought, creativity, and love into their doors. We loved seeing everyone’s beautiful creations!

We are so happy to share some highlights from our Grandparents Day celebrations! 💕👵👴

We were so lucky to welcome many surprise Grandparent Readers into our classrooms, where they shared special stories from their homes. Each class shared sweet moments with their grandparents, grandchildren, and their friends. The joy on the children’s faces was truly priceless! These little pockets of joy and connection are moments they can carry with them throughout their day or week—and hopefully, throughout the year, too.

The following Monday, we welcomed our grandparents back to spend even more special time with us! They enjoyed cuddles, classroom activities, and precious moments with their grandchildren, teachers, and friends. 🥰

We absolutely love opening our doors and having our families and loved ones join us for these special events whenever we can. There is something so meaningful about bringing generations together and creating memories that our children will cherish for years to come.

Wednesday was International Dog Day! 🐶

We asked our families to share photos of their pets and wanted to share some of those here! Pet's are a great way to improve the health of your family! They help with increased physical activity, relieve stress, lower blood pressure, lower risk of heart attacks, and more!

Positive relationships with pets can aid in building trusting relationships, self-esteem, AND self-confidence.

We hung them up in our lobby and are so appreciative of everyone for sharing!

Dolly Parton’s Impact on Children’s Education

We are deeply saddened to hear of Dolly Parton’s passing today and are incredibly grateful for the legacy she leaves behind. Throughout her life, she was a passionate advocate for children, education, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream.

Her most well-known initiative, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, provides free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, encouraging a love of reading and building strong early literacy skills. What began as a local effort in Sevier County, Tennessee, grew into a global program that has distributed more than 332 million books to children around the world.

Her commitment to education extended far beyond literacy. Through programs such as the Buddy Program and the Dolly Parton Scholarship, she helped reduce high school dropout rates and opened doors to higher education for young people in her community. She also provided support to children and families facing hardship, showing that her dedication to children extended far beyond the classroom.

Dolly Parton’s work reminds us of the profound difference one person can make when they choose to invest in children and their futures. We are so grateful to have lived in a time when someone so compassionate and influential used her voice, resources, and platform to advocate for education in such a profound way. Her legacy will continue through the countless children who discover the joy of reading, pursue their education, and believe in the possibility of a brighter future.
