🎃🥷 Sneaky teachers, stolen pumpkins, and a little friendly competition!

Thursday’s Pumpkin Ninja challenge had our staff sneaking pumpkins away from the admin—and they took their mission seriously! 😂 Lots of laughs and a whole lot of competitive spirit made for a fun day at LOMS!

🏆 Congratulations to Ms. Hatcher, our Pumpkin Ninja champion!

We love getting to have a little fun with the people who do so much for our students every day! ❤️🦬

🚧 Building up that Buffalo spirit! 🦺🔨

Our herd showed up ready to work for Thursday’s Construction Day! From hard hats to safety vests, we loved seeing our students and staff join in the fun! ❤️🦬

This coming week is a bye week, so no spirit dress-up days are planned. Looking ahead to the following week, we have TWO reasons to show our colors:

🧡 Wednesday, October 21: Wear orange for Unity Day to show kindness, acceptance, and inclusion!
🩷 Thursday, October 22: Bring on the pink for PINK OUT!

🎉 Celebrating Our Differences! 🎉

This week, Ms. Baxter’s students popped confetti poppers to celebrate what makes each of them unique and extraordinary! 🎊

Every student brings their own strengths, challenges, and way of learning. For our students, learning new strategies and persevering through challenges takes hard work—and every step forward deserves to be celebrated! ❤️

Ms. Baxter says watching her students build confidence, make progress, and discover what they’re capable of is one of the most rewarding parts of what she does.

We are so proud of these students and grateful for the encouragement and care Ms. Baxter pours into them every day. Keep growing, keep shining, and keep being YOU! 🦬❤️

🥫 LOMS BETA FOOD DRIVE STARTS TOMORROW! 🥫

Our Beta students have a challenge for the Herd! 🦬

Beginning tomorrow, October 7, we’re kicking off a two-week food drive to collect nonperishable food items for our community — and we’re adding a little friendly House competition to the mix! ❤️💙💚🖤

Students can bring their donations to the foyer and place them in the collection box for their House. The boxes are separated by House color, so make sure those donations count for YOUR team!

🏆 The House that collects the most nonperishable items WINS!

So clean out those pantries, grab a few extras on your next grocery run, and help your House show up in a BIG way for our community.

Two weeks. Four Houses. One great cause.

Which House is taking the win?! 🥫🏆

❤️🏈 Happy National Coaches Day to our LOMS coaches! 🏀❤️

We treated our coaches to donuts, kolaches, and sodas this morning as a small thank-you for the BIG impact they make! Beyond the games and practices, they teach our Buffaloes perseverance, teamwork, and what it means to show up for one another.

Thank you for the time, heart, and encouragement you pour into our students. We’re grateful to have you in our herd! 🦬❤️

🚀 FOUR students. FOUR galaxies. One BIG accomplishment! 🌟

We’re celebrating four of our Buffaloes who have completed ALL FOUR GALAXIES in Progress Learning’s Liftoff math program! 🎉

Liftoff helps students strengthen foundational math skills as they move their rockets through each galaxy. Completing all four takes hard work, persistence, and a willingness to keep learning, even when the questions get tough!

We are SO proud of these students for sticking with it and reaching this exciting milestone! Help us give our math stars a well-deserved round of applause! 👏❤️
