The Lone Grove Art Show was a great success yesterday, and we had some outstanding winners.
I would like to express my gratitude to all of my students who dedicated countless hours and worked tirelessly on their artwork this year. Their efforts were rewarded, as Lone Grove received many compliments from other schools, the staff at the Goddard Center, and the Ardmore beautification council. Numerous compliments were directed towards the quality of the artwork, as well as the overall skill level demonstrated by our students. This show truly highlighted the quality of students we have and this alone makes me proud to represent Lone Grove High School.
Molly Benedick placed first for her oil painting called "Self Portrait."
Aislyn Shearing placed second for her colored pencil piece called "Desert Beetle"
Alea Buchanan placed third for her ceramic piece called "Tiger."
Aislyn Shearing placed 3rd for her trash poster project.
Ella Munholland, Emilie James, Kayd Gillenwater and Alivia Ketchum placed 2nd overall in the trash project for their piece "CHERRIES"
Sadie Ross received special recognition from the Ardmore Beautification Council for her trash poster project.
Way to go long horns!!!!
