As a private tutor, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to shift my instructional focus when spelling, not reading, is the primary goal. If you're a certified dyslexia interventionist like me, the content is already in your lessons... You just need to know where to look!

Every spring as a sped teacher, I dreaded putting together summer school packets for my IEP students. It wasn't the work itself... it was figuring out what to assign, how much, and how to make it actually meaningful.
