Congratulations to Alexander/ Swafford team winning last weekend October 19th inner squad fishing tournament on Laurel. Results below:

1st: Alexander/Swafford 8.5 lbs
2nd: W. Alsip/ Vaughn 8.0 lbs
3rd: I. Alsip/ L. Kilburn 3.0lbs
4th: Anderson/ Martin 0.9 lbs
Also fishing but did not weigh in teams:
McWhorter/ A. Kilburn and B. Williams
DNF: Smith/ Orr

Congratulations to Will Alsip and Jack Vaughn on finishing 1st place by weighing in 12.7 lbs at this weekends tournament on Laurel. Also weighing in at 2nd place was I.Alsip/L. Kilburn with 4.0lbs and H.McWhorter/A.Kilburn with 2.1 lbs at 3rd place finish. Way to go Cards!

First tournament of the season and big congratulations to Orr/Smith on finishing first place and the only team weighing in with 4.4 lbs on Laurel this weekend!

There will be an informational fishing team meeting Monday August 19 at 7:00 pm at South Laurel High School cafeteria.

1)Bring $25.00 for insurance
2)If you need a jersey bring $60.00 or $85 for a hoodie

Please go ahead and get on final forms and download your physical and sign paperwork so we're can get started!

Let’s hear it for South Laurel anglers Hailey Anderson and Brook Martin for WINNING the 2024 KHSAA State Championship Girls Division on Kentucky Lake!!! On day two they weighed in another 5 bag limit with 12.8 lbs for a TOTAL two day weight of 24.91 lbs!

Brook Martin also won big fish in the girls division with a 4.7 lbs largemouth bass!

Also want to congratulate Braydon Hodges and Landon Alexander for a total two day weight of 20.9 lbs and finishing in 23rd place.

And finally congratulations for finishing in 30th place to Wade Brock and Clay Bales with a total two day weight of 17.11 lbs.

Way to represent South Laurel Fishing!

At the end of day one South Laurel anglers are looking good!

🎉🎣Our girl team Hailey Anderson and Brook Martin weighed in with 12.11 lbs and currently in 1st place for the girls division!

🎣Braydon Hodges and Landon Alexander weighed in with 13.6 lbs and currently in 11th place in Co Ed division.

🎣Wade Brock and Clay Bales weighed in with 11.09 lbs and currently in 23rd place of the Co Ed division.

We are so proud of all of you and ready for tomorrow! GO CARDS!

South Laurel anglers showed up ready to compete at Green River Lake Region 3 tournament this weekend. Proud of all 7 teams competing. Three of our teams will be moving on to state tournament at Kentucky Lake!

🎣Congratulations to Hailey Anderson and Brook Martin for finishing 1st place in the girls division and qualifying for state!
🎣Congratulations to Braydon Hodges and Landon Alexander for finishing 3rd place in the coed division with 16.11 lbs and qualifying for state!
🎣Congratulations to Wade Brock and Clay Bales for finishing 10th place in the coed division with 13.02 lbs and qualifying for state!
🐟Isaac Alsip and Logan Kilburn weighed in at 9.14 lbs
🐟 Jaydon Jones and Lucas Campbell weighed in at 8.9 lbs
🐟 Aaron Kilburn and Henry McWhorter weighed in at 4.06 lbs
- Also competing Trey Smith and Gage Baker did not weigh in.
