Never fails! 😅

Providers share this with your daycare parents!👇

10 THINGS EVERY PARENT SHOULD APPRECIATE ABOUT THEIR DAYCARE PROVIDER

1. They said yes to YOU. Confession: there are many families looking for daycare yet your provider chose you to be a part of theirs!

2. Providers work long hours taking care of your children - loving them as their own! Who else does that!?!? No, really.

3. They change more diapers a day than most parents a week. DID I JUST SAY THAT!?!? Yes, I did! This is not an exaggeration. And trust me, blowouts and the smell of nasty diapers are less than glamorous. Get your Provider nice smelling candles asap.

4. They help you potty train your child - honestly, who else would want to clean up wet p*e messes? No volunteers for that job. But your provider. She’s special.

5. They cook and provide LOTS of snacks every single day because here’s the truth: even though your kids are little - they are ALWAYS hungry. You know it’s true. Also, just fyi: groceries are not cheap.

6. They show up every day with a smile on their face ready to take care of your kids despite their own personal battles. They want you to be able to go to work and not worry about your littles. They got you covered!

7. They did not charge you late fees when you were running late to pick up your kiddos - even though they should have! Real talk: you knew you were late but you hoped they didn’t notice! They did. They just gave you a break. PSA: next time they’ll charge you! Don’t take advantage of their kindness!

8. They did not charge you late fees when money was tight and you paid late. Why? Because they care! Would banks and credit card companies charge you late fees? Of course they would! They don’t care!!! So, thank your provider for showing you grace. But NEVER take advantage of their good heart. Pay on time!

9. They buy gifts for your kids and make holidays special. They decorate. Throw fun parties. And send kids home with treats. Did you notice?

10. They don’t take time off or vacation as much as they should. They’re exhausted yet they keep showing up. They deserve a break yet they know you need them - so they work and work and work some more. Hello!?!? Can we acknowledge that providers are a special kind of people!?!? In a world where most people care only about themselves, providers care about you and your FAMILY! What a GIFT!

Bottom line: be thankful. Show appreciation- providers deserve it but will never ask for it.

Tell them “thank you” - that’s the least you can do. And it’s free.

But if you have some extra money: SPOIL YOUR PROVIDER! They deserve it! 🩷

There are so many versions of the Itsy Bitsy Spider song.
Which one do you sing?

The origins of The Itsy Bitsy Spider are believed to go back to the early 1900s. The song was first printed in 1910 in a book called Camp and Camino in Lower California under the name Spider Song. Over time, it changed into the version we know today and became a popular nursery rhyme and fingerplay for kids.

The song is often used to teach children about not giving up. The spider keeps trying to climb the waterspout, even though the rain washes it away. This shows determination and the importance of trying again after failing. Its simple tune and repeating words make it easy for kids to learn and enjoy.

Even though the song doesn’t have a deep history, it’s now a big part of early childhood learning. It’s often used to help kids build motor skills with hand movements that show the spider climbing.
