Hey Jaguar Nation! The Lady Jags are taking on GRC at Rupp Arena tomorrow night at 8:30pm in the first round of the State Tournament. Let’s pack the stands and show them our support!

*Student Tickets*

A generous community donor has committed to covering the ticket cost for any North Laurel High School student who wants to attend. To claim a free ticket, students must sign up in the front office by 9:00 AM tomorrow (3/12/26).

Transportation
If a student needs a ride to the game, a Pep Bus sign-up sheet is available in the front office. The bus will leave from North Laurel High School at 6:00 PM tomorrow and is expected to return by 11:30 PM.

Attention NLHS Seniors....

The Primary Election for 2026 Class Officers will be held on Monday, March 16th. Seniors will vote on a Google Form on the Class of 2026 Google Classroom to narrow down the list of candidates.

After the voting is finished, the top two candidates in the presidential race will move on to the General Election. Each presidential candidate will choose their Vice President nominee prior to the General Election.

For the Treasurer, Reporter, and Secretary races, the top four candidates will move on to the General Election.

North Laurel Boys Basketball is heading to Rupp! Region 13 champions! 💙💚

North Laurel is heading to Rupp Arena and will be in the 2026 UK HealthCare Boys’ Basketball Sweet 16®. The Jaguars will play the 4th region champion on March 18 at 1:30 pm.

On Tuesday, March 10th, all juniors will take the SAT, a national test that measures college and career readiness. To make sure everyone feels their best and does well on the test, we encourage everyone to be at school on time and enjoy the BIG BREAKFAST that our cafeteria staff is preparing for them. Testing begins at 8:30. Go Jags!

Mrs. Davis has passed the staffulty belt along to math teacher Mrs. Janie Mynk. She said, "It is my honor to present the Staffulty Belt for this week to Janie Mynk.
Janie Mynk truly represents what team Jaguar means! She is always professional, encouraging to everyone, prepared for her classes and for all things to do with her department, she’s early and stays late if needed without question. Janie Mynk is also a person who’s opinion I trust and welcome. Thank you Janie for your hard work and dedication to our school and your students!"
