One year ago, our lives changed forever.

The devastating tornado that struck our community destroyed our martial arts school and took the lives of neighbors, friends, and loved ones. What was once a place filled with laughter, training, and growth was reduced to rubble in a matter of moments.

Today, we pause to remember those who lost their lives and to honor every family whose world was turned upside down.

While the building was destroyed, the spirit of our community was not.

Our students, families, instructors, and friends came together with incredible strength, resilience, and compassion. We rebuilt not just a school, but a stronger community rooted in perseverance, faith, and love.

Martial arts teaches us that adversity does not define us—our response to adversity does. In the face of unimaginable loss, our community chose to stand back up.

We will never forget the victims of the tornado, and we continue to keep their families in our prayers.

Thank you to everyone who supported us during one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. Your kindness and generosity helped us move forward when it felt impossible.

We remember.
We honor.
