Mr. Grassle is our Educational Specialist. This is his 2nd year at Maple. This year he is also helping with Robotics and coaching E Sports.

Students took the Food Safety Certification class this week through Allan Hancock College at our campus. One more certification to add to the resume.

Two of our 5 new murals went up today. Students worked with local artist .novo last year to design and paint these. Grit and Instinct!

Meet Ms.Vine. She some of Innovation Academy teachers and also teaches our Concurrent Enrollment English 100 class.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve had the incredible privilege of welcoming three inspiring women back to their roots right here in Lompoc. 🌟 Each one started as a student in our community and has risen to lead with strength and dedication.

We were honored to hear from Davika Stallworth, President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce; Ashley Costa, Executive Director of the Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization; and Brenda Villa, Lompoc Unified School Board member and Director of Community Programs at the same healthcare organization.

Their journeys from Lompoc students to impactful leaders remind us that local roots can grow into extraordinary futures. 🌱💪

💀 Día de los Mu***os Celebration at Maple 💐
Today our campus came together for a beautiful Day of the Dead potluck, thoughtfully planned and hosted by Mako’s ELD class. Students shared delicious foods, colorful ofrendas, and heartfelt memories of loved ones who have passed, celebrating life, family, and tradition. 🌼✨

It was a day filled with food,
laughter, and community spirit, honoring culture while bringing our Maple family even closer together. 💛

Meet Mr. Cerda. Mr. Cerda teaches Agriculture at Maple and gives students hands on experiences through his CTE program. 🌽🌽🌻🌻🌱🌱

Happy Halloween from Maple. Students had the day off but staff participated in a professional development day. Just for fun we had a costume contest. Congratulations to Mr. Grassle for winning best costume. Stay safe everyone!

🌟 Exploring Our Future at Allan Hancock College – Lompoc Center 🌟
Today our BPL Academy students visited the Lompoc Center of Allan Hancock College, where they toured the campus and learned about all the incredible programs and services available right here in our community. From academic support to career pathways, students got to see firsthand how Hancock can help them reach their goals after Maple.

Big Picture Learning is all about connecting education to the real world — and today’s visit showed students just how many opportunities are waiting for them locally. 💡🎓
