ADOPT a Lompoc USD Senior

When the page was created and the first post was posted a message was sent to Facebook regarding posts going to the "Community" tab. Mary Smith attends LompocMapleCabrillo High School. She has maintained a 3.8 GPA all 4 years and we couldn't be more proud of Mary. Mary likes to shop on Amazon, go on hikes, lay out at the beach with a good book, sit around a warm fire with friends and ride her skates. She plans to enlist with the USAF, to travel, meet new friends and eventually make her way back to Lompoc.

ADOPT A SENIOR

Let’s show the Lompoc USD Seniors some extra love during this unprecedented time. Adopt a senior, two or more. Send a card, gift card, gift box/basket, snacks or just some encouraging words. Anything of your creativity to let them know we are all rooting for them. It is a stressful time for many, and we can help bring back a little sunshine and sparkle to their face. You don’t have to know them personally to pass on some kindness. So to make this a success this is how it will work:

PARENT/GUARDIAN OF A SENIOR:

1. One post per Senior
2. Start post off with “NOT ADOPTED”, hit enter and then start your paragraph/sentence.
3. Introduce your senior, state their name,
school and share a few things about them.
4. Add a picture(s) of your Senior, someone might recognize them by their face
5. Once the Senior you posted about is adopted EDIT your post from “NOT ADOPTED” to “ADOPTED”
6. Post a picture in the comments with your Senior and their gift/goodies they receive.

HOW TO ADOPT A SENIOR:
1. Comment on post “I will adopt this senior”
2. Send a PM to the person who posted about that Senior to get Information on likes and dislikes, Amazon wish lists, and another ideas. Don’t forget to ask for an address of where to send or drop off your gift to your senior.

Feel free to adopt any Senior and as many as you’d like, even if they have already been adopted. There are no limits on how many times a senior can be adopted. So if someone has already commented adopted you can still comment and adopt them also.

Please feel free to invite friends and family to this group. Anyone in the Lompoc area is encouraged to pass this along, our goal is to get our Seniors adopted and show them some love.
