Last week, we proudly celebrated the accomplishments of the newest graduates of National University of Health Sciences at our Summer 2026 Commencement Ceremony. 🎓✨

This milestone marks years of dedication, perseverance, and commitment to advancing healthcare. We were honored to recognize graduates from our Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Doctor of Acupuncture, Master of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, Master of Advanced Clinical Practice, and Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences programs.

A special thank you to our commencement speaker, Dr. JoAnn Yánez, whose inspiring message encouraged graduates to lead with purpose, remain committed to lifelong learning, and embrace the opportunities ahead with confidence and compassion.

Throughout the ceremony, we celebrated academic excellence, recognized outstanding achievements, and shared in the joy of family, friends, faculty, and fellow graduates who helped make this journey possible.

🌟 Student Spotlight: Rachel Guthrie 🌟

Please join us in congratulating Rachel Guthrie, a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine student at National University of Health Sciences, on being selected as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow for the 2026–2027 fellowship year.

The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship empowers graduate students to address health disparities through meaningful community service projects. Through her fellowship project, Rachel will work with Black pregnant and postpartum women on Chicago's South Side to strengthen self-advocacy and support informed maternal healthcare decisions.

Rachel's selection continues a proud tradition at NUHS, making her the seventh student from the university to receive this distinguished honor. We are incredibly proud of her commitment to service, leadership, and advancing health equity.
