We’ve now been back from our GBXmusicfest performance at All-State! We had INCREDIBLE feedback from educators who are helping this area of music education grow and see how important music of all varieties is in schools. Our students rose to the challenge and did an unbelievable job of setting up, tearing down, and ultimately, supporting each other throughout the process.

We still have our fundraiser open to help cover some of the costs of taking something like this on the road - if you are able to donate or share, every bit goes a long way!

Check out some of the photos and videos from this incredible opportunity in the comments. We’ll be hosting the full GBXmusicfest at East on Friday 3/15 from 6-10. Tickets will go on sale in early March and we hope to see not only many students, but community members there as well!

Glenbard District 87 proudly hosts GBXmusicfest each year to provide an opportunity for students to share their original commercial music. Going into its 3rd year, GBXmusicfest has been selected to present at the IlMEA All-State Convention in Peoria at the end of the month!

We’ll be taking close to 40 students and equipment to showcase GBX to music educators from across the state of Illinois. Today is the first day of our fundraiser to help cover costs for the students including uniforms, food, transportation, and rentals. If you are willing & able to donate, the students would be incredibly grateful for your support! If you can’t donate at this time, sharing this with others would also help our campaign reach its goal!
