In the early morning a beautiful baby was born. His mama did an amazing job! She was strong and beautiful as she welcomed him into her arms. There is so much to celebrate today❤️

Somedays as a doula I am rushing out the door, sometimes I get to slow down and sit with client, a friend, that has already welcomed their baby and listen to concerns, talk about all the things, watch a baby latch/feed, or just let her enjoy having an extra pair of hands to rock a baby to sleep. I love these sweet moments and these people.

I am co-hosting a drive by baby shower this weekend. I rolled (just a few 😜) diapers to create this 4 tier delightful decoration. The person to guess the correct number of diapers will win a $10 Starbucks gift card on me!

This morning I was given the opportunity to walk through the most beautiful and peaceful birthing space I have seen. A space that will provide inclusive midwifery care to women of all ages. They have thought of every detail from the elegant lighting and seating, robes instead of paper gowns, a multitude of options for labors of mothers, to comfortable and cozy exam rooms. Not to mention a wonderful and inviting staff! I am so excited we are lucky enough to have a center like this near us. Check them out!

I did some virtual belly mapping with a beautiful mama this morning. By asking questions and diagraming what she is feeling, we were able to make predictions as to this 33 weeker’s position. It also helps mama become in tune with what she might be feeling when baby moves and groves!
