Learning gets a little WILD in Animal Science!

Our Rooted students had a great time in Animal Science yesterday getting up close with some of the animals and learning more about the incredible creatures God created!

There’s nothing better than hands on learning, curious minds, and a classroom full of excitement. We love giving our students opportunities to learn, explore, and experience science beyond the textbook!

Rooted Middle Schoolers are wrapping up their Geometry Unit on Area, Perimeter, and Scale Drawings and now it’s time to put those skills into action! 📐🚚✨

Using everything they’ve mastered, students are designing their very own Food Trucks from the ground up! From calculating area and perimeter to creating detailed scale floor plans, they are applying real-world math skills in a creative and hands-on way.

Students also had to carefully plan their truck layouts by calculating the area of each section and determining the cost of materials and equipment , all while staying within a project budget. 💰📏

This project has challenged them to think like real designers, business owners, and architects!

We can’t wait to see their finished Food Truck creations come to life. These students are doing an incredible job turning math into something practical, creative, and fun! 🍔🌮🍦

Rooted Middle finished up their Dinosaur unit on Thursday and ended on a high note. Their projects were full of amazing Dino facts and the knowledge they gain will last a lifetime. 🦖🦕
