Walnut Grove High School's Player of the Game in their season opener with Monroe Area is Rhyder Beard!

Rhyder, a senior strong safety for the Warriors, started the season off on a high note with an impressive personal performance. He registered 11 solo tackles, was in on 6 more for assists, and snagged an interception to cap it all off.

Great work, Rhyder, and congrats on Player of the Game honors!

The game ball was delivered by Walton County Farm Bureau agent Coleman Fisher.

Congratulations to Walnut Grove’s Player of the Week Rhyder Beard!

The senior defensive back made multiple tackles and intercepted a pass on the first drive of the season during the Warriors 42-10 loss to Monroe Area last Friday.
