This school year, Mrs. Tucker's class reached an incredible milestone—we read 180 books together! Through stories filled with adventure, learning, laughter, and imagination, we strengthened our reading skills and discovered new ideas and perspectives. I am proud of the dedication, growth, and love of reading our students have shown all year long. Here's to celebrating 180 books and many more reading adventures ahead! 📚✨

Field Day is tomorrow, May 21, 2026! 🎉☀️

Please make sure students are dressed appropriately for a fun and active day. Students should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes, as they will be participating in both indoor and outdoor activities throughout the day.

W is for Water Day in our ABC Countdown! 💦☀️ Mrs. Walker’s class had a blast cooling off by throwing water balloons at the sidewalk. So many smiles, laughs, and splashes made for a fun-filled afternoon! 🎈💙

Nothing beats ice cream with toppings on a hot day! ☀️🍦

Mrs. Wilson’s class put their engineering skills to the test by building strong houses to help their piggies escape the Big Bad Wolf! 🐷🏠 From teamwork to creativity, these little builders worked hard to make their houses wolf-proof!

As their time at Landis begins to wind down, students in Mrs. Holmes' classroom celebrated the memories and friendships they’ve made by signing each other’s Field Day shirts and enjoying other fun activities. They even wrote letters to next year's fourth graders giving tips and advice on what to expect as they enter a new grade level! This group of little Lions is going to be greatly missed as they move on to new adventures at LIS 💙🤍
