Here at the Landis Library, we are committed to helping our students fall in love with books! We are encouraging a continuous cycle of learning by challenging students to finish their checked-out books and swap them for brand-new stories right away.

The competition is heating up, and our readers are crushing it! 🔥

🏆 Grade Level Leader: 3rd Grade is currently leading the school in overall book checkouts! Keep up the amazing work, 3rd graders! ⭐ Classroom Champions: A huge shoutout to Miss Mejia’s 2nd Grade Class, who currently holds the top spot for the most books checked out and read! You all are absolute reading superstars! 🌟📖

🐉 4TH GRADE BREAKOUT MISSION: RESCUE THE RING! 💍

Attention parents, families, and friends! Our brilliant 4th graders are embarking on an epic digital quest this week, and they need all their literacy skills to save the day!

Here is the story: Penny’s grandmother lost her precious ring... and a greedy dragon has snatched it! 🐉💎

To help Penny rescue the ring and return it safely to her grandmother, our 4th graders must enter a Digital Breakout Room. To crack the locks, decipher the clues, and solve the codes, students must demonstrate their mastery of literary genres—from historical fiction and fantasy to informational texts and poetry! 📚✨

Can our 4th-grade detectives prove their genre knowledge and break open the dragon’s lair in time? 🗝️
