Logansport Adult Learning Center English Language Learners

Our next Citizenship Classes have been scheduled. If you're interested, feel free to call the office to sign up! If you know someone eligible to naturalize but concerned about the citizenship interview, these classes are a great way to prepare.

Enrollment for English Classes will be NEXT WEEK, August 4- August 7. You will need to come to the school between 9-11 am or at 6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

All new AND returning students will need to come and register for classes. These are the only days we will be open for enrollment this month.

If you want to enroll in English classes, our next registration will be September 30-October 3. If you need morning classes, you must come one of these days between 9:30AM-11:30AM. If you need evening classes, you must come on Monday, September 30 or Wednesday, October 2 between 6:00PM-7:30PM. This registration will put you on our waitlist to start classes as soon as there is space.

The LCSC Adult Learning Center accepts people from all over the world who speak all different languages. Attending ESL class is a great way for students to improve their English! Attending ESL class also helps improve job skills, communication with children's teachers and school, understanding housing, and can ultimately lead towards achieving a High School Equivalency (HSE).

Our ESL instructors teach Listening, Reading, and Speaking using a curriculum that adapts to each class. Classes are offered in the morning between 9:00-12:00, and in the evening between 6:00-8:00. Each class meets two days a week. Students are placed into different classes based on their current knowledge of English, as determined during the registration process.

Classes are free of charge!!

Everyone who wants to attend English classes this fall needs to come to the school 1 day next week (August 5-8) to register.

You may come Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:00-11:00 a.m. Current students (if you were attending classes in May/June last year), please arrive at 9:00.

OR

You may come Monday or Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

These are the ONLY days we will be open for enrollment this month.

If you want to take English (ESL / ELL/ ESOL) classes this year, please come to the school this week Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 8am-3pm or 6-7pm to sign up for a registration appointment.

We are in a new location! 410 W. Miami Ave, Logansport (the building used to be Franklin Elementary)

ALL students who want to take classes this year must make a registration appointment- new students and returning students!

Registration and testing will be August 14-17, and classes will begin August 21.

We WILL have class tonight! Come to class from 6-8 like normal. See you there!
