Cass County 4-H is seeking a sponsor for our 2027 4-H champion and reserve champion rosettes!

Our sponsor will have their name on every champion and reserve champion rosette at the Fair in 2027! We will be ordering our ribbons before the end of October, so please reach out to the 4-H Extension Office at 574-753-7750 or [email protected] if you are interested in learning more and sponsoring some ribbons- this is wonderful way to support the 4-Hers who have gone above and beyond with their projects!

📢Attention:

Purdue Extension Cass County will be temporarily closed on the following dates:

August 31 - September 2- Closed to set up new office at 500 High Street
Friday September 4 – 7- Closed for Labor Day

We will be open at our new location on Thursday, September 3, and will return to our regular schedule on Tuesday, September 8. Thank you for your patience during this exciting transition. We can’t wait for you to see the new space!

Come out to the Fairgrounds for your favorite breakfast, all while supporting 4-H! September 12th from 7-11am, with shifts available for all 4-Hers to voluntere to help serve breakfast and get some community service hours for the Fall!

Congratulations to our final Sweepstakes winner from Cass County, Hailee Roeske! Hailee earned the Sweepstakes award on her Genealogy project…for the second time! She also earned this award in 2025!

Cass County 4-Her, Taylor Mills, earned the highest honor with her Informative 4-H Presentation on Saturday during the Communications presentations!

She earned the Sweepstakes Award for her division and will be recognized in the Celebration of Champions for her presentation “Igniting your Passion for 4-H”.

This is Taylor’s second year in the communications project- you never know what can happen when you try new projects and push yourself! Congratulations, Taylor!🍀

State Fair Project pick-up will be tomorrow afternoon from 4-6pm at the 4-H Community Center! Come pick-up your State Fair project. Our office will not be storing projects that aren't picked up!

Congratulations to all of our 4-H Members who particiapted ta the State Fair this year and represented Cass County so well!

Remember: State Fair Project pick-up is Tuesday, August 25th from 4-6pm at the 4-H Community Center. We will be bringing the projects straight from Indianapolis. Please plan to arrange for someone else to pick-up your project on the 25th if you can't make it. The office will not be keeping projects that arent picked-up.

If you take your own project down, please remember that you are responsible for picking it up as well.
