Our 2025-2026 season concluded this evening as we honored our Berry Speakers for their accomplishments. This bittersweet evening reminds us of the impact that Speech has on our students, past and present. We’re so honored to be the place where kids find the power in their voices. Proud is an understatement. The LHS Speech Team finished their season ranked 3rd in the AA Class and 9th overall in the STATE with 12 quarterfinalists, 6 semifinalists, and 2 finalists: Madilie (6th, Humor) and Nathalia (5th, Original Performance)! The work ethic, talent, grit, and willpower of this team drove their success. We are ever thankful for our volunteer judges (Claire, Alex, Ared, Yvonne, Sam, Lindsay), our loyal bus drivers (Steve & Crystal), our supportive team parents and friends, and our coaching colleagues within the ISSDA who provide the platform for our students to find their voices and speak their truths. None of these efforts go unnoticed. Together, we all create space for students to thrive. ⚫️🔴 Go Berries! 🔴⚫️

We’re sending our congrats to teammate Yoslen, who had a busy weekend serving at The Indiana Youth and Government Conference. This was a tough choice for him, as it meant he had to miss Sectionals. But, he was selected as the Youth Government Member of the Year, so we celebrate his success! 🇺🇸

Logansport High School Speech Team kicked off our season with our annual Welcome to Winter Tournament! It was a snowy one and we appreciate everyone who helped, attended, and supported to make our tournament a success! Logansport Speech placed 3rd. Go Berries! ❄️
