Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue to work with local agencies. All DeSoto Parish Schools and district offices will remain closed on Thursday, January 29. Ice is melting more slowly than expected and continues to impact roadway travel, particularly in many of our rural areas. In addition, district water systems remain affected by ongoing disruptions to water service.

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. District leaders will continue to monitor conditions and will share additional updates regarding school operations as more information becomes available.
