USU’s Lambing Facility is more than a place where lambs are born. It is a hub for hands-on learning where students gain real-world experience in neonatal care, reproduction, flock health and animal management.
Through work at the facility, students contribute to research that has influenced sheep breeding worldwide, advanced genetic disease research, improved reproductive technologies and strengthened parasite control strategies.
From the lambing pens to the laboratory, Aggies are helping shape the future of animal agriculture and veterinary medicine. 🐑🩺
