During Alt Breaks 2015, 2016, and 2017, USU alt breakers worked hard in this garden alongside its caretaker, Daniel Watman. The US side was recently and unexpectedly bulldozed, but volunteers and community members stood up for the space and were allowed to replant this weekend.

Volunteers, and some U.S. Border Patrol agents, began to replant the U.S. side of the Tijuana-San Diego binational garden that was bulldozed by federal authorities earlier this month.
