Thank you to all of those who attended Dr. Furlong's Retirement Reception, as well as those who made it our dinner - we had a great time.

We are also in the process of designing t-shirts for GAPSS featuring our new logo. If you have an idea of a phrase, motto, or slogan that you would like to see GAPSS adopt, send us a quick email. Hey everybody! Just wanted a reminder that tomorrow Dr. Robert Ross will be speaking on How To Select a Thesis Topic and How To Begin Writing a Thesis at 11:30 in the Poli Sci Library. Hey everybody, tomorrow Eddy Morris is going to BYU tomorrow to hold a recruitment event for the grad program here. If you know anybody that is down there and would be interested in coming let them know about it. It will be in SWKT 262 from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Thanks!

Hey everybody! This year GAPSS is sponsoring USU's Model United Nations. The event will be on January 24th, 2015, and we are having our first meeting to prepare for it tonight! Please come it you can - it is not a big time commitment and a great cause. We will be meeting at 7:30 in the TSC Service Center and would love to see you there!

We hope you have all had a great summer! Now that the semester is about to get into full swing, we wanted to make sure everyone was aware that the graduate students (recent graduates are invited as well) will be meeting for an informal dinner tonight at 6:30 at the Firehouse Pizza in Logan.
