What a trip!

At state CDEs this year we had teams compete in...
Agricultural Issues Forum (1st place)
Floriculture
Food Science and Technology (4th place)
Forestry
Meat Evaluation

We were able to tour the USDA Poisonous Plants Lab. We got to take rumen samples from the fistulated cows and hug goat kids!

We also toured the Aggie Chocolate Factory, and they never disappoint.

We had the best day at the Utah State Fair on Friday! We worked the little hands on the farm exhibit with , watched Miranda show her goat, rode all the spinny rides, and ate the best fair food. Already counting down until next year!

Next week we will be celebrating Christmas in June! We will be planting Christmas Cactus to prepare for our sale in December. Drop in Monday-Wednesday between 8am-1pm. See you there!

We kicked summer off with an awesome field trip! We were able to visit USU's Dairy and South Farm, the Aggie Chocolate Factory, and Pineae Greenhouses. We were able to see and pet lots of animals, taste test chocolates, and see so many flowers.
Huge thanks to Ms. Jenson, Bryce, Steve, and Brett for hosting us and answering all of our questions!

We had a great day at FFA State CDEs! Our nursery landscape team placed 8th. We then got to explore USU's campus and visit the Freckle Farm Nursery.

We are teaming up with Riverton FFA working at the Little Hands on the Farm exhibit at the Utah State Fair. Saturday September 18th from 2-10pm. See Ms. Roholt for a permission form, you will need to have that filled out to get your gate ticket.
