Due to unfounded misinformation circulating online, USU is offering the following statement: Tyler Robinson attended the Logan campus briefly for one semester in fall 2021, was a pre-engineering major, and took classes consistent with that major, after which he took a leave of absence.

He was not involved with the Center for Anticipatory Intelligence, did not have contact with CAI faculty, and did not attend any CAI activities. The Center for Anticipatory Intelligence is a strictly academic, classroom-based program.

USU Launches Nation's First Master of Anticipatory Intelligence Degree Program The Center for Anticipatory Intelligence at Utah State University has launched the Master of Anticipatory Intelligence program in the nation.

IT'S OFFICIAL: We are thrilled to announce the launch of the nation's first Master of Anticipatory Intelligence (MAI), a professional degree program designed to uniquely prepare individuals from both STEM and social science backgrounds to anticipate and successfully navigate complex emergent security challenges across a wide range of fields and industries. The 2023-2024 application season for ALL Anticipatory Intelligence programs is now open! Join our info session this Thursday, 16 February, at 4.00pm to learn about our nationally pathbreaking Minor, Graduate Certificate, and NEW Master of Anticipatory Intelligence (MAI) programs! As part of the fall speaker series CAI hosted Dr. Jeffrey Larsen, who spoke to students about NATO's response and adaption to Russia's war in Ukraine. Dr. Larsen shared insights into NATO's history, recent changes to NATO's defense posture, and the challenges it faces going forward due to Russia's re-emergence as a direct threat to Europe. Major thank you for his time and insights!

As co-lead of the Intermountain Industry, Intelligence, and Security Consortium, CAI was delighted to participate in the I3SC Fall Symposium hosted by our UVU CNSS partners! Our joint leadership teams and faculty gathered excellent input from industry partners across Utah to continue shaping our undergraduate and graduate curricula to meet the pressing needs of Utah’s technology workforce. A special thank you to team leads from our industry partner MITRE for flying out from Washington, DC to lead an excellent Futures and Foresight Workshop at USU!
