USU's College of Science mourns the passing of renowned Chemistry Professor and Researcher Alexander Boldyrev. An AAAS Fellow, Dr. Boldyrev was USU's inaugural R. Gaurth Hansen Professor, and was the recipient of the university's D. Wynne Thorne Career Research Award, Utah State's highest research honor. He was revered as a scientist, teacher and mentor.
