Cache Employment and Training Center

This month CETC would like to highlight "Jenny's Place" ! This area is named in honor of a previous CETC client, Jenny. She attended our area that was designed with higher behavioral clients in mind. After her passing, her family generously donated funds for renovations, which CETC used to structure Jenny's Place. Jenny's place staff place an emphasis on learning about clients' individual traits, and sensitivities. This is done so staff can better support these clients in decreasing negative behaviors, thus increasing their quality of life & happiness. Jenny's place consists of 3 main rooms. Clients are placed in the room that best suits their needs, where they spend a good portion of their time when they are not out in the community, participating in various classes throughout CETC, or going for a walk with their staff. This increases the client's comfort and well-being, and can help decrease target behaviors. Something that is noticeably special about Jenny's Place, is how well the staff, lead aides, and coordinator work together. When a client is in crisis, staff are quick to pull together & work as a team to best support the client. Way to go, Jenny's Place!
