Big congratulations to doctoral student Mikaela Drewel on receiving a Commendation for Dissertation Excellence!
Driven by a deeply personal inspiration-her cousin’s recovery from a head injury, Mikaela’s vital research investigates how traumatic brain injury (TBI) and Alzheimer’s disease affect the brain and behavior. Her findings are paving the way to better understand and improve long-term cognitive outcomes.
We are incredibly proud of the impact you are making, Mikaela!
